What this resume builder is for
This builder creates a professional two-column resume (photo, contact, languages, and skills in the sidebar; profile, experience, and education in the main body) without needing any word processor. The layout is already designed to be scanned by a recruiter in a few seconds, so you don't have to fuss with margins, spacing, or column alignment yourself.
Practical use cases
- Job applications: put together a polished resume in minutes, ready to attach to an online application.
- Career changes: quickly restructure your experience into a clean format for a new type of role.
- Internship and entry-level applications: a clear one-page layout that highlights education and skills.
How to use this tool
- Add your photo (optional): it's automatically cropped into a circle.
- Enter your name, the job title you're targeting, and your contact details.
- Write a short profile, then add your languages, skills, and interests.
- Add your experience and education using the "+ Add" button, in reverse chronological order.
- Check the preview on the right, which updates in real time.
- Click "Download PDF" for the final file, or "Print" to print it directly.
Key benefits
- No account required, no limit on how many resumes you can generate.
- The resume fits on one page as long as the content allows; beyond that, extra pages are added automatically, both in the preview and the exported PDF.
- Works as well on mobile as on desktop, with a Form/Preview toggle on smaller screens.
- Your data stays on your device: nothing is sent to a server while you type.
Practical tips
- Keep the profile to 2-3 sentences: it's a summary, not a cover letter.
- Describe your responsibilities with action verbs and, where possible, a measurable result.
- A resume should ideally fit on one page early in your career, and no more than two pages beyond 10 years of experience.
Good to know
The photo you upload is resized directly in your browser (square cropping, light compression) before being added to the preview and the PDF. It's never sent to a server. The PDF is generated locally on your device at the moment you download it.
Common problems
If the preview looks cramped, try trimming the profile text or shortening bullet points under each experience — long unbroken paragraphs are the most common cause of an overflowing layout. If a photo looks stretched, choose a roughly square source image before uploading it.
Frequently asked questions
Can I edit my resume after downloading it?+
The PDF is a final document. To edit it, come back to this page (your fields stay filled in as long as the tab remains open), adjust your information, and download it again.
Is this resume suited to an ATS-based application?+
The two-column layout can be misread by some very basic applicant tracking systems (ATS). For an online application sensitive to this, a single-column resume is safer.
Can I choose a color other than navy blue?+
Not yet in this first version. Other color templates are planned for a future update of the tool.
