Privacy policy

Local data processing

The information you enter into the tools (the content of a resume, a cover letter, an invoice, a quote, or calculation amounts) is, wherever possible, processed directly in your browser. It is not sent to or stored on FreeProTools' servers during normal use of a tool.

Technical libraries

Tools that handle PDF or image files (merging, compression, conversion, signing, etc.) use specialized JavaScript libraries. These libraries are hosted directly on FreeProTools' own servers rather than on a third-party content delivery network: they involve no request to an external service, and your files never pass through a third party while they load.

Cookies and local storage

FreeProTools may use your browser's local storage to remember certain site preferences. No personal data is transmitted to a server through this mechanism.

Payments

Downloading a finished file costs $1 (USD). Payments are handled entirely by our payment provider, SasPay, on its own secure payment page: FreeProTools never receives, transmits, or stores your card number or other card details. Before payment, the finished file is encrypted in your browser; only a small, random, single-use decryption key is briefly sent to our server, and it is only released back to your browser once SasPay confirms your payment. The file itself never leaves your browser. This escrow record (a random key and a paid/unpaid flag, tied to no personal information) is automatically deleted shortly after your download, or after one hour if never used.

Advertising

The site may display ads through third-party ad networks, including Google AdSense. These networks may use cookies or technical identifiers to serve relevant ads, in accordance with their own privacy policies.

Third-party vendors, including Google, use cookies to serve ads based on a visitor's previous visits to this site and to other websites. Google's use of advertising cookies enables it and its partners to serve ads to you based on your visit to this site and/or other sites on the Internet. You can opt out of personalized advertising by visiting Google Ads Settings, or by visiting aboutads.info. You can learn more about how Google uses information from sites that use its services on Google's partner sites page.

For visitors in the European Economic Area, the United Kingdom, and Switzerland, a consent message provided by Google's consent management platform asks for your choice before advertising cookies are used for personalized ads.

Hosting and network infrastructure

The site is delivered through Cloudflare, which serves pages from servers close to the visitor and protects the site against abuse. As a result, Cloudflare processes technical information such as your IP address and request details when you load a page, in accordance with its own privacy policy.
